Last weekend, we at Inc.com sent our intrepid freelance reporter Gina Pace to check out SHOPBOX, a new store that’s dramatically rethinking the concept of “retail.”
How? It completely lacks sales clerks. It’s built into a shipping container on the street. And it’s more of a diorama of products than a place to pick them up—and in fact, you can’t take any of your purchases with you.
